This is a huge and superb condition wreck that has been well prepared as a dive site - no nasty cables and snags, doors removed leaving good penetration and swim through dives. The bottom is 140' 45m but you don't need to go below 120' or around 35/40m to get some great diving in. Plenty of sea life including the... More

Lots of the dive operations closed on my 3 day trip due to swells of 4-6 feet. So I charted Keys Custom Fishing Charter, the captain was also my dive buddy. the fulfilled my dream to see some small part of this amazing dive. I will use them again and I will come back

Outstanding artificial reef! You will need multiple dives to see the entire ship. Visibility is dependent upon the currents. There are many swim throughs and the marine live is abundant. She rests at about 150' and the decks are about 90' and less. With a group dive you will get just about 30 minutes per dive. I went out with... More

Had a great course with Captians Corner. The wreck was great. Ask for Indiana Mike very safety conscious.

You won't see it all on one dive (or even two.) Easy swim throughs, nice wildlife, and of course that beautiful eeriness that wreck dives often have.

The Vandenberg is about 7 miles off Key West, she is over 500 feet long and has a beam of about 71 feet. She sits upright in about 140 feet of water and the first decks can be reached at around 70 feet. There's not a whole abundance of marine life but it's good for anyone getting into wreck diving,... Took some friends out to dive the wreck a few weeks ago and they really enjoyed it. It is so open that a diver can swim from room to room or deck to deck. There is abundant sea life all over the ship and visibility can be extraordinary! It's easy to find, so you can rent your own boat or... More

I have been diving for 25 years and seen a lot of wrecks. This is a BIG wreck. Still very intact and still amazing. Lot's of fish and lot's of great history. Read about this boat before you dive it and you will appreciate it's history more. Plan to do at least 2 tanks on this wreck. Visibility is never... More

This wreck is so well preserved. There is a lot of growth on it but that just adds to the whole experience. The marine life is amazing theres just so much to see.

A lot of growth and biomass on it compared to when it first went down. Actually keeps becoming a better and better dive as it gets older
