The Vandenberg is excellent for skilled and upgrading divers who want to expand their skills beyond the normal 20' reef dives. Good vis. Large fish. Several dive groups will take you. I use Captain's Corner. Enjoy.

Huge, awesome, and totally worth a dive! I went with Lost Reef and had a great time with the guides and other divers at this site!

The Vandenburg Wreck was a fantastic dive. Visibility was great so we were able to see the magnitude of the ship. Lots of great marine life. Fun to be able to go inside the various openings.

Don't remember a thing so it was probably good, since I don't recall any nightmares or shivers reading the name of this attraction.

'Nuff said. Put this one on your bucket list if you're at all interested in wreck diving. It's a bit of an aggressive dive, so you really need an Advanced certification if you want to see anything below the first deck, but it is well preserved and big enough that you will want to dive it quite a few times... The water was on the cool side and unfortunately the air temperature even more We dived this wreck with southpoint divers. Just four of us and a guide and we had this vast wreck to ourselves The visibility was clear. If you're a diver and in the area then you must visit here

I dove on the Vandenberg three times while in Key West in Feb/Mar 2014. It is the best wreck I have ever dove on. The visibility is consistently good and the ability to safely penetrate parts of the ship are ideal. Make sure you get a picture swimming in one of the radar dishes!

We went out with Captains Corner -- good shop. Seas were predicted to be 5 ft, but we got perhaps 2. Minimal current, but probably 30 ft of visibility. We spent our time touring the decks, which are unusual mostly because of the two big satellite arrays. We really didn't see much in terms of life, but that might have... More
