Tropic Cinema is South Florida's only nonprofit multiplex cinema screening 1st-run indie, foreign and documentary films and Hollywood blockbusters every day. With 4 theaters, state-of-the art projection services and the best concessions stand anywhere (we serve wine and beer and drizzle our popcorn with 100% melted butter), it's no wonder Florida Monthly magazine named Tropic Cinema "Florida's Best Cinema" for four consecutive years.

The theaters are clean. Generally tend to be an older more mature group of patrons. Smaller theaters with comfortable chairs. They have a higher quality of refreshments and snacks including wine. Sound quality is excellent. We have gone to several film festivals there and met...More

We went to see “The Post” in this well restored cinema house that has several screens, offers munchies, wine and beer and has the iconic “Marilyn Monroe on grate” art work in front. Well worth a visit.

This is a vintage cinema and is really cool for that reason. It does not have all of the amenities of some modern theatres but that is not why you go.
