We celebrated my birthday by watching the sun rise on one of the mornings while visiting. The views were awesome and everyone and their pets who came out as well was fun to be around!
The pier is wide, concrete, and has railings - very secure. It's more like being on a road if you're someone that's nervous on a pier.
It is a beautiful place and has great view for the ocean and beach. Suggest to ride a bike to visit there. It will be very convenient.
Fishing, sightseeing, AIDS Memorial and more situated near recreation, hospitality, and garden venues. No entry fees and free parking. Pier lacks shade and does not offer concessions or bathrooms.
Went during the day, so it was hot. Bring some water and a hat. Probably better early or late. Will return. Free parking.
Wonderful pier and great photo ops, we sat on one of the benches and had a picnic listening to the water and watching the planes land at the airport.Very relaxing place.
We went for a stroll after dinner on the pier and enjoyed viewing the sea life. There was a nice breeze and a nice amount of people doing the same thing!
Growing up in Key West, the pier was open for cars - and many fisherman would come on a Sunday and fish. Now it is no cars allowed but a lovely walk.
this pier is beautiful and it extends far into the Atlantic ocean. The southern most of the United States and 90 miles. A great spot night or day. Perfect sunsets.
