Stand in line to wait and touch it or jsut do like we did and just walk up on the side of it and take a pic with others in the background with the same shot. We walked up, took the pic and walked away. Not much else to do here. It's in a residential area so that's about it.... More

A must visit landmark in Key West. The wait line for a picture sometimes is a bit too long, but it's a nice souvenir.

Cool marker of the southernmost spot in the Continental United States. There are always lines of people waiting to take their picture next to it. I settled for my shot with people I didn't know. Good enough for me!

A must see, quick stop. Really a photo opp for future story telling. Checkout the landmark, the views, and realize you've been to the Southermost Point in all of the United States.

We visited this at night as we had seen it during the day on previous visits . No crowds / long lines to wait in if you go at night !

And it costs you nothing, but honestly!?! Go there, take the compulsory photo, but don't get too excited. There was a queue for photos 100 yards long when we arrived. Why? not entirely sure! So you can hols your keyring up next to a photo of you at that place!?!?!

There are certain places and things that are mandatory when visiting places, and a photo in front of the Southern most point buoy is one in Key West We did just that in this visit, and can check this off the list!

The Southernmost Point Buoy is an anchored concrete buoy in Key West, Florida marking the southernmost point in the continental United States. It is a good place for photos and every time we have been there, it is crowded with tourists.
