If you want a PHOTO in front of your visit to the SOUTHERNMOST POINT plan to stand in a line. Was there in September 2016 and was amazed at the line! Everyone has a group of two or more; so plan on watching the same group switch camera's to take pictures of each other. I'd check out different times of... More

Just kind of cool being at the end or the beginning of the USA. Hearing the history of how is was made possible for us to get there as at one time you could only travel the keys by boat until the railway was built to connect the mainland to the keys and they of course the famous Seven Mile... Large buoy for photo opportunity. States it's farthest southern point in US but US Navy facility in background is actually farther south. Usually a line to get to buoy for photo taking.

We took pictures here. Lines start forming early, not much room to stand in front of marker. We did it to say we were there, probably would not go back for that again.

A must see when in Key West. Stand behind it and your the most Southern Point! Usually a long photo opp line. If you don't want to wait, walk behind it and take a picture - no wait as long as you don't mind not having the Southern Most Point words in your photo.

Plan to spend about 5 minutes taking photos at this marker which designates the southernmost point of the U.S. Go early in the morning or you will have to add about 20 minutes of wait time for your photo op.

Ok so a line to take a picture is pretty much unavoidable. Still a must see even if u don't want to wait. It's the southern most point in the U.S. Just had to stop. And is an easy walk from the main parts of Key West / Duval St.

It was cool but the line to just take a picture next to it was super long and other tourists take forever. It's great to say you've seen it and maybe snap a selfie but other than that there is not much else to it. One awesome thing nearby is this guy with a bunch of coconuts in the back... More

Cool place if there wasn't a line around the block to take your selfie with it! Read the plaques too!
