Civil war fort converted to a garden. They did a nice job cleaning up after the hurricane. They lost the big tree but if you didn't know it was there before, you don't notice.

This is truly a gem - especially if you love gardens - but even if you don't. Set in the Matteo fort nestled alongside the ocean, the scenery alone is terrific. There are a number of 'rooms' in the gardens, each with a different focus...More

The Key West Garden Club maintains this historic venue where exotic plants and orchids flourish. The self-guided tour offers beautiful sights and smells around every corner. Admission is free, but contributions are appreciated. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Outdoor garden spaces are especially lovely! We had fun watching American Redstart birds scratching around on ground for insects. Warm greeting at Front Desk with helpful information. Clean restrooms--thank you.

Sad to see the giant tree in the center gone but the efforts of all the volunteers and staff have turned the place into a wonderland again.

A beautiful place. Sad to see the pre- and post- hurricane photos. The members do an amazing job restoring the garden in a short amount of time.
