This was a surprise. I did not expect much but this little place blew me away. It is close to a 3D fantasy, but as real as you can get. There are also the birds that flit around you beside the iridescent butterflies. A must do if you are in Key West.

We almost didn't go here...butterflies? We did though and spent about an hour walking around. You can go your own speed and we really liked the hundreds of butter flies that fly though the conservatory

The buttery fly emporium is super. Gives one such a sense of peace when you would through. It is also conveniently located

I stopped by the butterfly conservatory on a rainy day. The conservatory is small but filled with colorful butterflies. There is also a well stocked gift shop.

We've been to other butterfly conservatories, but thought this one was the best we'd been to. Yes, it's small, but it's beautiful and full of butterflies and moth, birds (even a pair of flamingos), and plants/trees. There are also a lot of educational posters and displays, plus plenty of staff to answer your questions along the way. Worth the visit... More

I was afraid it was a tourist trap.. and while it kind of is, it is a magical one. Hundreds of butterflies, and 2 loud flamingos make this just a fun hour for adults and kids alike!! The shopping area is a fun place to pick up something for family back home. Take your time and take lots of pictures...

This is a must see this adventure. I was awe struck by the layout of the conservatory. The attention to detail of the different habitats was well planned. The variety of butterflies, birds, fish made for magic. I felt like a child again being amazed by nature

The facility is much larger than it appears from the street. Lots of butterflies plus turtles, birds, and fish.

It's small and it's warm (because of the climate control for the butterflies), but it's such a sweet little stop in Key West! It's not a lengthy visit, and it's kind of pricey for what they offer (felt like the gift shop had more space than the actual exhibit), but it was really pretty amazing! It definitely won't be the... It's just a fun experience. We took my mom there for her first and last visit to key west before she passed away. She was a trooper going into this place even though she was afraid of butterflies . We enjoy it every time we've gone there.
