We had only a couple of hours to enjoy the mangroves on our way to the Miami airport from Key West, but quick, attentive service from Paul and Mitch set us up with a tandem kayak and a map. We saw many birds, fish, a giant iguana, and a saltwater crocodile sunning itself on a bit of beach. It was... More

My 2 daughters and I had a fabulous experience at the kayak shack again this year. We were there almost every day either kayaking, paddle boarding or jet skiing, Paul and Mitchell helped us get out boards and kayaks in so we could have a wonderful time on the water seeing crocodiles, manatee and bird life. I will only go... More

I would definitely start my stay in the Keys with a stop in to The Kayak Shack! The staff helped us get our itinerary set with all sorts of fun things to do in the area - including Kayaking and Jet Ski Tours right at their location. Located at Robbie's Marina - which has a fantastic restaurant, fun little outdoor... More

Visited the Kayak Shack early this month on 3/1 and loved it! Would definitely go back again, our guide Stephen even took some photos for us, which was awesome! However, we are still waiting on getting those pics! Cannot wait to see them :)

We had so much fun learning how to ride a jet ski with Stevie B. We stopped for snorkeling and saw a sea turtle, jellyfish, and hermit crab! We also jet skied into a mangrove tunnel which was very fun. Thank you Kayak Shack for an amazing day! 😊🌴

We have been in Islamorada for a month and have kayaked with the guys at the Kayak Shack four times with three different groups of guests and each time the guests said it was their favorite activity of their trip! The mangroves just around the corner from Robbie's are simply amazing. Every trip has been different, and every trip has... More

We did the "Sunset Tour." This is a good trip for first time kayakers in Islamorada. The guide will take you through the mangrove tunnels and point out notable wildlife and plants. The mangroves are a maze of channels and tunnels that would be easy to get lost in for a first timer. In the end we were treated to... More

We chose The Kayak Shack at Robbie's Marina because they rent kayaks by 1 hr, 2 hrs, half or full day. Having never kayaked before and both old enough to almost be grandparents of the workers we decided on 1 hr. The guys showed us how to paddle, helped us get in and settled, and gave us a map. We...
