Interesting place for a fast stop to wonder around and stretch your legs after a long car ride. Sad to read about all the lives lost.

Easy to miss as the monument is quite small and there are no real signposts around. Interesting to read up on the history of this terrible hurricane and the damage it caused. Nice monument.

We were walking by & stopped to read the information on the monument. (Another there let us know there was more on the other side of the monument.) Doesn't take long to visit and the history lesson well worth it.
