Th Indian key state historic site is a small island that you can visit for a small fee. You can enjoy the wildlife and waterfront. It is just off Islamorada.

Me and my husband got to snorkle around the island and then got to walk around the streets and see all the cool historical places they have. Each site has a description telling you a story behind it. MUST SEE!

It took about 45 minutes one way. We were a large group with some younger kayakers. It's about 0.8 miles, and (very!) shallow water.
