This is our second trip to Marathon this year. Sombrero Beach is still closed and under construction, large piles of sand line the roadway and most of the beach, with many trucks going in and out,but it looks like they are getting close to recovery....More

Although the hurricane has left its mark, this beach has a beautiful view, playground and plenty of water access. But if you are going very soon be aware the beach is temporarily closed while they do clean up. Go see the beach!

This was a small buy lovely beach in Marathon. We were even able to watch manatees swim by the coral. The beach was clean and had great amenities. Nothing can beat the sunset!

If you want a traditional beach, this is the best one in the keys! There is limited space, but it is a traditional beach!

This is on Marathon and not far from our motel. Make sure you wear sunscreen. Had a great time!! Wear water shoes for walking on the reef and plants...

We rode bikes to the beach from our resort in Marathon, swam, bought ice cream from an ice cream truck, and felt like kids again. A perfect family beach.

No. There are no docks. There are several areas along the coast, close to Sombrero beach where you can dock, but not on the beach itself.
