Spent an afternoon here. Nice quiet, natural beach area with kayak rentals and fishing. nice clean bathrooms, drinking fountains, picnic tables and shelters. Nice break from the more commercial parts of the keys.

We arrived into town several hours before we could get into our Hotel. After having breakfast we needed something to do for a few hours. We found this place on accident. However it was a great accident. Beach was beautiful and clean. Restrooms were clean....More

Visited Curry Hammock State Park in the late afternoon / early evening. Plenty of parking available. Bathroom building was clean and convenient. Good time of day to go as the beach was not very crowded. Went with two teenagers and both loved walking the beach...More

We had a great time and it is a Great Park. We stayed here until out campsite opened at Bahia Honda. The park is clean, well maintained and we enjoyed ourselves. The rangers and staff are top notch.

Maybe we just picked a bad afternoon to visit, but the beach was basically overrun with kiteboarders. You actually worried about going in the water, in that you weren't sure if they'd come flying into you. Smaller beach than Sombrero.

This review is for the walking trail that is about 1 mile down from the main park entrance, but still close to the park. The trail opens with a view out into the bay, which is spectacular. The trail itself has some walking signs (which...More

Curry Hammock State Park is a really small park. It is a small beach, picnic area and small campground. In January it is not crowded. It will not take long to see the park if you just want to sightsee. About a mile down the...More
