If you are visiting the park this is well worth seeing its just by the children's park,( there are two ) This gives a beautiful insight to what all the Soldiers must have gone through fighting for our freedom. I can stand there and get lost in though.

We visited Lakefront Park. This memorial is close to the children's playground. Worth a look if you are visiting the park. There's a beautiful tree in the middle.

It is a small monument tribute to soldiers from WWII. Small but nice. Have floor stones from people who contribute and probably part of that battle.

Wow, just thinking about what those soldiers went through sends chills down my spine. The Bataan Death March alone killed an estimated 30,000 soldiers, please forgive me if my numbers are wrong, but the pain and suffering inflicted by the Japanese Army was unprecedented and totally unnecessary.

We've been to Kissimmee a few times but never went downtown. We decided to go for a drive and was shocked to see this awesome memorial! It's very informative and full of history. I salute everyone who made this possible. The place is by the lake, nice place to walk or jog, it has a small playground and parking is... More

It is a lovely depiction of a horrible event where over 30,000 lost their lives on the death march. The account of what happened is well written and informative. We must never forget such atrocities and learn from them.

when you make the booking they ask you your nationality. if you are Japanese they put you on a different bus from the other tourists and the content of the tour tells less about the atrocities caused by the Japanese army. if you sign up for the walking tour no lunch is provided so bring your own lunch.

Very touching memorial if you know the story. Stopped and read many of the bricks there and found a couple of Bataan Survivors among them. Beautiful setting on lake in downtown Kissimmee. Many restaurants close by.

While on a Holiday in Orlando, taking the family to Disney, I managed to find some time for a quiet walk alone along the Lakefront in Kissimmee Town, here I chanced upon the Battan-Corregidor Memorial. Unaware of this Death March from WWII, I found the experience moving and informative. As as the monument states, let us Honor those who gave... More

Local and foreign tourists are encouraged to visit Corregidor Island to see the World War 2 relics and tunnel. The historic place will show you the Filipino soldiers' nationalism and love of country.
