The museums probably not easy to find without a Satnav as it's located at the end of an industrial estate but there are signs on the 668 Ulmerton Rd. There's a Mig 21 and various military vehicles parked in and around the car park/entrance area but not a lot of parking spaces. Entrance is $17.95pa but you can find discount... More

My husband, retired Army, found the first large gun he trained on at Ft Sill many years ago, first time he has seen one in a military museum. Rooms decorated in detail. Enjoyed visit very much.

The Armed Forces History Museum is very well done. In particular, I really liked how the different wars were recreated to give visitors a better idea of each war. Each section had a recreated area with display cases tucked throughout to show artifacts from the era. In fact, in the Vietnam section I had to resist swatting mosquitos that weren't... More

Free parking $17.95 admission fee Easy to find via GPS Small quaint museum. With a tiny gift shop located inside. There is also military pieces outside the museum ( military jeeps, tanks and helicopters) I think the admission fee is high for such a small museum but it was worth the Saturday trip.

I have been to many military museums. This hidden gem is absolutely amazing! The displays, the vignettes, the actual equipment were outstanding.. From the trenches of WW I thru Vietnam with a bit of the Gulf War, visitors will be amazed.. Area service personnel donated many items and the museum honors many of them.. Went there with my Wife ,... More

Great armed forces museum. AS you walk in, there is a magnificent static display of uniforms from all branches through the ages. Additionally, the static display of small arms is second to none. The trip through the museum is as if you are going back through time to see the conditions and gear that both sides used in conflict. From... More

Very interesting museum. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. Every branch of service is honored. Real planes and vehicles everywhere. Each war has a special section.

My son is a WWII buff and we have been to many military museums. This is a nicely done museum that is well worth the visit. They have a small tank that can accomodate 3 passengers -it was the highlight of our second visit. Call ahead to reserve your ride.

The Armed Forces History Museum is a hidden gem for any military buff, but is still very entertaining for children and those of us who just tagged along. We spent a little extra and hired a private guide. I HIGHLY recommend that if you can make reservations a bit in advance, you hire a guide to make the museum come... More
