This is a kid friendly museum with outdoor exhibits as well as indoor. A true history of Marco Island from the Callusa Indians through the development of the island. Lots of artifacts and memorabilia. You exit through a nice gift shop with something for everyone!

Three periods of local history. Pre-historical native Americans, 1800’s farming and development, and 1960 to present. Nothing fancy but well presented and friendly knowledgeable docents.
