This WAS excellent, but the Ian Hurricane wiped it out. Dont' let anyone tell you differently. The hurricane completely wipes it out and it collapsed into the Gulf of Mexico.

No longer exists except as an artificial reef - Hurricane Ian has caused them to collapse into the sea.

Probably it's now an artificial reef so may become an interesting diving experience.

Had a wonderful boat trip by Treasure Seekers, Captain Matt, and Sarah Beth, shell guide. Shelling, a trip and history of the dome houses was a real plus. Lots of interesting stories.

It was amazing to see this once magnificent home. The tour guide explained how the tides, currents, and hurricanes damaged the home. How places like Marco Island and Naples would face similar consequences if the cities did not continue building sea walls.

We saw boats fishing nearby and dolphins swimming around. The six domes are becoming a place that sea life enjoys being around.

Such a weird history and story. Great place to visit by boat to learn about the history of the area and the climate issues that took this "house" and turned it into the top of a reef.

The views and food were excellent. Staff everywhere we went were friendly and helpful. Especially our bartender at Pinschers.

A very neat part of Marco Island's history, which can only be seen by boat. Definitely worth the time and money to see. They will probably be gone before too long.

Had an amazing time with my wife on our one year wedding anniversary! We had the boat all to ourselves. Captain Nate is a gentleman and a scholar, he turned around multiple times to show us rare birds or feeding dolphins a we may have missed. 10/10 any friend of mine coming to Marco island will be getting this place recommended to them!!

Our captain took us to Cape Romano and we got to visit the homes once built in the 1980*s and the story behind them. Its a nice place to visit and only by boat.

The dome houses were once on mainland until hurricanes and erosion took their toll. Today they are in the water and and in dismal condition, deteriorating fast. They are a creepy kind of cool that must be seen in person. People better hurry up though it is expected that they will be gone sooner than later. There used to be six houses but now there are only four, two of them are completely underwater.
