We visited several state parks while traveling along I-10, and this one was probably the favorite. Cave tours are guided and $8 a person (as well as the minimal parking fee). Arriving early-afternoon, we did have to wait about an hour and a half for...More

Best way to get away from the heat of Florida. Very informative tour lasting about 45 minutes. Walking trails above the ground also was nice. Well worth the visit.

Interesting place, we arrived at noon and waited for a couple of hours for the tour to begin. Tour takes some Forty five minutes, great information provided. I wouldn't make it a final destination but should be visited if you are passing near by.

Came here last Saturday with the wife. If you like caverns and hiking, then this is a must see if you are near here. Not that far off of I-10, parking is $5 for a car and the cavern tour is $8 per person but...More

This state park has hiking and camping but the highlight is the cavern. There is a gift shop, tourist center and small museum. You can view a short video about the caverns which were discovered in 1930's. The CCC excavated the floor and built the...More

Marianna is in a rural area. My husband's grandfather said he used to hang out there when he was a boy, before it became an official state park. There are many cave openings on the property that he used to explore on his own, but...More

We arrived late in the afternoon and there was only 4 people in our tour. This allowed for an almost personal tour. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. The caverns are amazing.

The Caverns offers underground cave tours some days (call ahead for tour days/times). The caves are about 70 degrees year round so it's a cool break on a hot Florida day. There's camping, canoeing/boating, lots of places to hike or bike ride. There's a swimming...More

Yes, it is just a State Park, but this one is clean and well kept. The staff was friendly, and that is a plus in my book.

Giarc53 is correct. They encourage bringing your own food and offer picnic tables and seating areas. Gift shop has only snacks and drinks.
