This park is great. They have a jetty where you can go fishing. They have camp grounds where you can decide to cook out with burgers and hot dogs, and you can walk with your family down to the lagoon and chill out at the small beach they have.

Definitely a destination for locals and visitors. I served as a volunteer staff member for 15- years and loved every second of it. As a recreation site it is top notch.

The beach is nearby as well, but this park is really nice. Families with young children may prefer this to the beach since the waves are minimal at most. Pretty area and we enjoyed it.

Everyday is different when you come to this park. I've walked out on the jetty and have seen thousands of fish, sea turtles and one day manatees! The surfing is almost always good and you can't beat the fishing! Camping here is great but book way in advance for the winter months as the no seams bugs are harsh in the... More

Thus is a nice park with a new restaurant and an area to bath as well as watch for dolphins and manatees. The fishing pier is great except the anamosity between a few fishermen and boaters has caused the pier to be closed at dusk when it used to be open all night. What a shame that a few idiots... More

First time out we saw a manatee swim by in the river! There were about 6-7 out in the surf swimming around. Water is usually very clear in the ocean. I see a lot of folks catch tons of fish too. It is a fantastic outdoor retreat and I plan to snorkel there soon as well.

I've been going to the inlet for 25 years. Great fun for the whole family. You have the beach, inlet and wonderful fishing opportunities. A campground with lots of space and water all around. Small Museum. It's a few bucks for the day pass. We'll worth your money and time.

What a beautiful site and view. There is a cost to enter and that was a slight turnoff for us, as we just wanted to take a few pictures and lunch, not spend the day, but that was not an option.

We've camped here before. My husband loves to fish. You can fish from the bank, a catwalk under the bridge, a long fishing pier which the ocean crashes on, the beach, the jetty, a boat....& people catch fish. The campground isn't big but it's nice. Really nice bath house & convenient laundry if you need to wash the fish smells... More
