It was alright but why pay to go to the inlet when the beach is free?

I guess if you have small children the lake like atmosphere of the inlet is nice but you pay $8 per car and it's packed with people so get there early. Otherwise I wouldn't drive... read more

I guess if you have small children the lake like atmosphere of the inlet is nice but you pay $8 per car and it's packed with people so get there early. Otherwise I wouldn't drive this far just go to the beach it's free. Now the park does have camping and trails which if that's the reason to go it... More

This is truly a beautiful are, but I sort of felt like it was more of a recreational are for the locals. I visited with the intention of looking for shells, but it was waay too busy for that. Also, the parking area was REALLY overcrowded. I had to park alongside the highway along with alot of other people. I,... More

The state park here is very versatile and has something for everyone. On the inlet side there is a lovely tidal cove where you can swim, paddle, float, kayak or build castles in the soft sand surrounded by pelicans and cormorants. If you want more active water, go over to the Atlantic side where the waves splash in and will... More

Just returned from 3 days camping at Sebastian Inlet State Park. We had a beautiful view of the inlet, our own little piece of rocky shore line. We saw turtles, a shark and a ray, many birds, people fishing, boating, biking, walking. The area is very well maintained, the grounds are mowed and picked up, the restrooms are very clean,... More

Sadly no manatees were found. Seemed kind of expensive for what it is there ($8 just to enter the park)...though I suppose if we would have seen manatees it would have been worth twice that!

The inlet was incredible and provided an amazing view of the ocean. It was located a short drive down the A1A from where we were staying. A nice place to visit.

Sebastian Inlet is a great place to visit. It is a good place for fishing, boating and for a picnic, and depending on the tide a great place to see a variety of birds in a very small area. At low tide the tidal pool is teaming with birds. Just beyond the small beach is a small rookery. Some of... More

Been here several times through the years. If you want a picturesque destination for a picnic, this is the place. Where the river flows into the ocean, you can watch boats, birds and all kinds of wildlife. We've seen manatees (3 guessing a family), sea turtles and all kinds of ocean birds. The beaches are beautiful. And if you're a... More
