This is a great exhibit and worth giving it extra time including the simulators. There is a lot of interactive displays in this area and a wealth of great information.

The Space Shuttle Atlantis might be one of the underrated exhibits at the Kennedy Space Center. This huge building that houses the shuttle has a bevy of exhibits for children and adults alike from a 2 story slide to a simulator on a shuttle take off. Amazing place. Our favorite moment was running into a young man dressed as an astronaut named Lucky who was walking around with a bowl of ice cubes. Jolly Chriss.

Growing up seeing the shuttles launch it was a great joy to see this spacecraft up close again. It really brought me back. My family thoroughly enjoyed learning about the space shuttle program as well!

Awesome to see in person
Jun 2021
Awesome to see in person but the line to get to see it was so long, over an hour and the building is way over crowded. I saw a sign that said maximum Occupancy was 1,000 but there was probably twice that there in the building. I'd go again but on a day when it isn't crowed and there isn't a launch

Having been nuts about anything involving NASA since I was a kid, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to see an actual, used space shuttle, (sorry, Enterprise!) I could have spent hours just looking at all the exhibits in the building but only spent 1 1/2 hours due to the afternoon rocket launch. I absolutely loved this part of Kennedy Space Center..

We visited here while visiting the rest of the Space Center Complex. It was very informative. My husband likes astronomy and he enjoyed it a lot.

Such a fun way to learn about human space exploration, so inspirational and uplifting. All the hard work and sacrifices made on the part of so many. Entire family enjoyed this outing :-)

This is truly a one of a kind experience. To think this shuttle actually traveled in space over and over again. It is huge. It is just an incredible thing to see up close.

Best part of visiting the Kennedy Space center Visitors complex

Amazing sight, as only one exhibit with the complex, it is the most interesting part of the day we had there.

Awesome at last seeing how real it is in person. I always enjoyed following the space program and now we even had a chance to experience a shuttle liftoff. Really fun getting up close with a lot of hands on simulations
