NOT THE BEST FACE OF THE CUBAN EXPERIENCE

The area has become very popular but some people were not enjoying it when I visited. Signs are in english and nothing like the real Havana.

Got there late in the evening on the weekday, so the bar was closing at 23.00, but got my Corona and chilled out on comfy sofa. Definitely lot of potentials there, apparently it is lively on weekends.

This area is full of Cuban culture. There are several shops and restaurants here. You can live in this area and not even speak English. As a local in Miami for over 45 years it is still Latin to the core

as above I didn't think this shop should have been part of this tour, the owner of the shop was a good tourist attractaction if you liked the smell of cigars which he smoked all the time.

The historic Calle 8 is a street that stars in Downtown Miami and go all the way to Miccosukee Game and Resort. A symbol of Cuban exile

A must while in Miami. You are truly transported to Cuba. A drink and music at the Ball and Chain. A stop into Versailles, or Casa Jauncho for a bite. Cigars, Dominos, music and more.
