ZWF Miami is the only zoo in South Florida with as many animal encounters. We carry more than 40 exotic species at our facility with many available for interactive activities involving our guests. The five acre zoo houses everything from domestic animals and primates to large predatory birds and mammals. Some of our popular selection of exotic zoo animals are Chimpanzees, Gibbon Apes, Sloths, Lemurs, Owls, Snakes, Anteater, Lions Cub, Snow Leopards, Tiger Cubs, Ligers, Black Jaguar, Lynx, Serval and mischievous Capuchin monkeys - like those used in many movies. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation offers intimate tours and private encounters by appointment. Contact us to schedule a special tour with our exotic animals! It's an experience you will never forget. Tours must be prepaid and booked in advance in order to guarantee your desired date and time. DIRECTIONS: Please use these directions. Booked only the basic tour, but property was uncrowded. We got very personalized service and one-on-one encounters, without booking anything beyond the basic tour. Go! And stop at the "Cuban Pizza" truck a half mile up Rte 997 on your way out.

First, shout out to Ashlynn. She was amazing. You can tell every member of the staff has a personal connection with the animals. We had a 2:00 primate experience and there was a big group ahead of us, so they called and asked us if...More

Booked the general tour and we were certainly not disappointed. Our great guide provided a very informative tour around the facility and plenty of opportunities to get close to and feed various animals. At the end of the tour we had the opportunity to interact...More

I wanted to give 4.5/5 stars because of the price, but overall this wildlife sanctuary is very good and does deserve 5 stars. $85 per person gets you a 1 hour tour of the grounds and their excellent collection of exotic animals as well as...More

They have an indoor and outdoor seating/waiting area. The staff is extraordinary and friendly, ask and explain to them your situation. I'm sure they would accommodate your mother while your on your tour.
