Location, location, location.. that pretty much sums up Bongos. It is a bit pricey but being located in close proximity to the American Airlines Arena makes it a ideal place to enjoy Cuban style food.

We went to this place with some friends some time ago and were very excited about the place, but it was disappointing, to say the least.

Food is expensive, not a good taste of Cuban food. Better Cuban food found in Hialeah for a quarter of a price Bongo's charges. Not recommended!

We had a wonderful meal - empenadas (tasted very genuine/Cuban). The young man who served us couldn't have been nicer to us. It's attached to the Marriott hotel, via a breezeway (Marriott Biscayne Bay)- very convenient

It is the finest in Cuban cuisine. It has a great Latin flavor to the place with great entertainment also. It has a great view of Biscayne Bay and the service divine!

All Bongos locations advertise themselves as "kid/family friendly" so the restaurant is open to all ages and the local laws regarding drinking ages will determine if you can be served. I've never been to there after 10pm so... More
