Lots of Art Deco to observe as you walk down the long, busy avenue. Great restaurants, bars, shops and hotels. Probably easiest to see it all from a Hop On Hop Off and get out occasionally.

There seems to be a theme to my posts. Great people watching abounds in South Beach. Lots of Art Deco, happy hours everywhere. Right off the beach and boardwalk.

A great place in Miami Beach to walk, shop, eat and see Miami Beach life go by. Some great restaurants along here, and not far from the beach.

Lovely street in miami, a few good places to eat here and much cheaper than ocean drive itself. Little Pizza restaurant called Piola, absolutely delicious and great variety 😀😀😀

What a great atmosphere along here at night time. This is where it's happening in south beach at night time. Great array of late night restaurants and bars and the IceFire club. Highly recommend a visit.

No reason to worry- at least not at daytime and during night time I would try to have company. Other than that, I personal would not be worried at all. It is the party zone and you may meet some unusual people. However... More

There are affordable restaurants in the area. I'd check with your hotel concierge for suggestions on restaurants within walking distance that are in your price range.
