About
We are an urban oasis in the middle of the glamour of South Beach, a place where residents and visitors can enjoy all the serenity that the Garden has to offer in the shadow of the brand new Convention Center! We invite you to discover the spectacular features of the Garden – a wetland with red mangrove and pond apple trees, an expansive water garden with cascading oolite fountain, a welcoming entrance plaza, and diverse collection of flowering trees, palms, cycads, orchids, and Florida native species. Our Botanical Boutique is bursting at the seams with floral and fauna-themed gift items that you will want to take home as a memory of your visit. Visit the Garden web site at mbgarden.org to purchase tickets for just $5, Tuesday thru Sunday.

I enjoyed my visit to this botanical garden! I'd wanted to go for quite some time, and my hotel (Kimpton Palomar South Beach), was walking distance away. It was as billed--a small, beautiful garden. There was so much variety, including things known as desert plants (Adenium Obesum, Desert Rose) and agave, growing in Miami's humidity and frequent rain. An avid gardener from the Southwest, I learned some things! There are a few plants for sale in the gift shop and around their nursery area. I wish they'd had more. It's worth a visit.

Beautiful area that is free to explore. No charge. Lost of lizard and iguanas bask as you walk around fountains and an array of different plant. It’s would be dumb not to check out.

What a treat! A very relaxing place for meditation. We visited in the morning and there was nobody. There are plenty of benches to sit on and just watch spectacular colors. Hidden gem of Miami a wonderful urban garden. Worth a visit. It is for free.

Could not find this place, it was hard to find parking in the area where it should have been. Can someone post better directions to get to this place.

An excellent example of what can be done in the heart of the city. Great water features add to the relaxing nature of the gardens.

Being free (and smaller than other gardens in the area) shouldn't imply this is a lesser experience- this is one beautiful garden. I enjoyed an early morning stroll while waiting for other area attractions to open- arriving early was to my advantage as parking in the area looked as though it could become problematic later in the day. A beautiful oasis in the middle of a city!

These gardens aren't particularly large or unusual, but its a pleasant little free escape from the city. Worth a short stop to find a little peace by the pond.

Beautiful colors, some wildlife. It was a great way to walk around and enjoy a little bit of nature. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but it was beautiful.

We were only able to stay outside the garden as it was closed Monday, the only day we were in town. Note, that there were no signs on the gate with this information, which was only found out when we caught the attention of a staff member inside the grounds. What a pity.
