Great way to walk along the beach. Walking down A1A is a bit overwhelming with the amount of traffic. This is an excellent connector, well maintained with nice natural shade in points as well as informational frames regarding sand dunes. Well lit in all areas, adequate signage of which streets you are passing for reference. Also, nice 1k, 2k, etc.... More

A very good boardwalk to tramp along with ease of access to the beach BUT be careful as many bikes and skateboards use it and use it both ways.

It was a very nice walk. Clean and well maintained. We walked on it late morning on a weekday and there were very few people. It was warm, there was a gentle breeze and was truly relaxing. It has a wide clean beach on one side and hotels and restaurants on the other. Had a late breakfast a time one... More

That's my fav walking in SoBe, not too hot like the shore nor too crowdy as the street. You can also rent a bike and enjoy a relaxing ride.

The Miami Beach Boardwalk is a terrific place to walk, talk and bike. Only caveat is, many people are plugged into music and or telephones and thus, bikers beware! People don't get out of the way of bikers (when asked to) or keep to one side of the fairly narrow walk way. A small price to pay for a nice... More

The Boardwalk runs from South Beach to Mid Beach and is a good way to avoid walking along the busy streets/traffic and be able to take in the beach views. The Boardwalk is located behind beach front hotels, making it very convenient to access should you be staying in one of these hotels. We also used the Boardwalk to get... More

It was a nice enough walk. Beach one side, hotels the other. It was pretty clean and well maintained. Lots of runners, cyclists and dog walkers. A few homeless guys knocking around but nothing that felt threatening. Lots of loud house music coming from some of the hotels. Didn't bother me but may put some off. Good view of the... More
