The Art Deco district is a treasure to be cherished. Because of the foresight of a wonderful woman, this distract was saved by the wrecking ball. You should see it for yourself,. Visit the museum and take a walking tour. You'll be glad you did.

We did a self-tour of the gorgeous Maimi beach art deco architecture. Beautiful colors, shapes and shadows. Enjoyed the Art Deco Welcome Center too, and learned more about the revival in Miami.

Everyone should walk South Beach once in their lifetime and see the expensive cars, glitzy and not so glitzy fashion and of course the architecture. However, the competition among the restaurant owners is so fierce that you can't walk the west side of the road without running the gauntlet of hosts and hostesses trying to wrangle you into their establishment.... Very different deco than you've ever seen. Lights at night are really cool. High energy down there with lots of strange.

I want through here after sunset on New Year's Day. I wanted to see the old historic hotels and buildings. Seeing the lights of Miami is incredible as well. If you're artistic or are into art, you have to not pass this up. All the hotels in restaurant had their tables out on the street, and the Miami music was... More

Glitzy, different, beautiful. Walk it day or night, it charms and delights. Walk it on the other side of the restaurants and you'll see it better and you don't get accosted by hostesses trying to drag you into their place to eat and overcharge you, esp. on the drinks.

Nice area to visit in South Beach. More architectural art than actual art for sale. Be sure and take the tour where they explain much of the history associated with the architecture. If you want to buy art go to Little Havana.

They have walking tours where you can learn about the history of the buildings and the architecture. Plenty of shops and restaurants to visit too.
