Actually deserves 10 stars

Extraordinary building (Garry). Extraordinary acoustics. Extraordinary musicianship. Check out their wall cast offering and don't spend a fine. A true highlight of Miami Beach.

The New World Symphony offers world-class classical and sometimes other music. The Frank Gehry building provides excellent acoustics to enjoy the music. Don't miss the rooftop garden before the concert or during intermission. Lots of nearby places to eat on Lincoln Rd. Give yourself ample time to find parking; if there's another event in the area, it can be hard... More

Building is gorgeous and view from the rooftop amazing. Just the view worths the $5. I did the tour (group of 4) for one hour and it was great to learn about the architecture and the symphony. Definitely recommend this tour.

Located in a modern designed park, it is a place to visit. The building is very modern and nice, including a rooftop garden. If you have a chance to take a look inside it is a must.

If you find yourself visiting Miami during the college-season academic year, seriously consider visiting the New World Symphony for a performance. The school provides fellows with a year of creative instruction and collaboration in an amazingly beautiful Frank Gehry building. Tickets are very reasonable and there's not a bad seat in the house, either visually or acoustically. As well, the... More

The New World Symphony is an academy for young musicians who have completed their university experience, and now have an opportunity to practice their craft under the direction of world renowned Michael Tilson Thomas. They present a wide variety of concerts throughout the year, from tried and true classics, to more contemporary "New Music". The concert hall was designed by... More

This has got to be the local be-all in Miami Beach. The simulcast of the concert is a quality projection and sound experience for those who want a different way of enjoying classical music. Bring a blanket, wine and snacks and enjoy. Just be kind enough to dispose of your refuse in the nearby recyclable containers. This is a diverse... More

We hadn't planned to go to an outdoor concert in South Beach, but we were curious about the evening's free performance projected onto the huge exterior wall of the Gehry-designed building. It was truly something different. It's a great experience. The sound system is amazing, and the camera coverage of the orchestra is thrilling. And the youthful players were inspiring.... More

A spectacular Frank Gehry venue, an unforgettable performance with top class soloists. Yet, the best thing was the program, called Mixtape. A potpurri of everything, from Ravel to Hi Hop, through jazz and classics. Great night. Will definitely come back for another program
