I've camped here several times since August. there are two distinct areas -- a larger, newer section for bigger RVs and motorized campers (although those in tents can stay there too) and a smaller, older, more secluded and woody area (sites 1-20). Only vehicles, tents...More

We went on this camping trip for 3 nights. With kids ranging from 8-13. It has just reopened after a year closure and renovation. That would be why the bath house is immaculate. It was very busy and the camping sites are fairly close. We...More

Went on a bike ride and was warned about the panthers, snakes and bears but we had a close encounter with a big gator. Did we peddle fast, we did, great place all the same.

Worst invasion by aggressive mosquitoes since my last trip to Costa Rican jungles. Nice launching ramp for kayaks or canoes, but you are attacked by biting insects the moment you open your car door to get out.

This park's main feature is the Walking Dredge. We enjoyed seeing that and the Royal palms. Other than that there is not much going for this park unless you canoe or kayak, which we don't. We basically paid to see the Dredge and use the...More

A great destination. Off the Tamiami Trail heading out of Naples. Well worth the walk to see the royal palms in a natural setting. Need bug spray most of the time. You can drive back to Naples via Goodland and Marco Island.
