Much more than a walk-thru zoo, this historic tropical garden and nationally accredited zoo features a full day of wildlife experiences to delight guests with the natural world to inspire the conservation of our planet's remaining wild areas and their wondrous inhabitants.

Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the Malayan tigers at viewing windows. Hand-feed the herd of giraffe plus enjoy your favorite animals like lions, monkeys, and bears. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature the fierce YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation.

Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

We definitely love zoos and often visit them while on vacation. Large or small, we always give them a try. This zoo is on the small side and the route around it is a little over a mile. Of course you actually walk more than this as you detour to view animals. A boat trip and islands which are home... More

We had a nice visit. Grounds were clean, guides were super nice and it was a day we didn't want to spend in the direct sun. Agree with other reviews that suggest going earlier is better but overall a nice zoo.

We spent a delightful afternoon at the zoo with our 7 and 10 year old grandchildren. We all enjoyed the exhibits, especially the interactive ones, like getting to feed the giraffes. We will definitely go back next year when they come down to visit.

It was okay for what I'm used to for a zoo. It's small and cramped and very everglades theme instead of like a regular zoo with variety. The cruise to primate island was cool and the worker are very informative. Unfortunately the animal were in small areas and majority were alone. It was sad.

Even though it is small, it is a great zoo! Feed the Giraffes, ride a camel, watch alligator feedings. Ride the boat around the monkey islands, get lessons and watch feedings if many of the animals. Attend a show featuring different species...mammals, birds, reptiles...or just go watch the Honey Badgers! We bring family here quite often and it is always... More
