We drove slowly down this street. Very quaint. Filled with shops, restaurants, cafes, ice cream. Some buildings reminded me of French Quarter New Orleans. I think it is a nice street to take a stroll; we just didn’t have the time.

The Verginia restaurant on 5th Avenue far exceeded our expectations! ‘Freddie’ and the Management overextended themselves to insure that everything was perfect! Gave us a free glass of wine. Discounted our dinner. Service was incredible. And when we came back in the evening before the...More

Naples Pier is a must visit in Naples. I always enjoy the walk from 5th and zig-zagging through the neighborhoods before ending on the beach and pier. Love it.

The area is nice and they have many different options to choose from, but it’s nothing spectacular. I was glad to have all the different places to go, but it’s not a must do

Naples is a very pretty and well maintained town, right on the gulf. Definitely worth visiting - lots of shops, restaurants, beaches etc.

What a great street to stroll. Grab a drink. Something to eat. Shop in the shops. Stop to listen to music and dance a little.

Nice shops and restaurants although a tad expensive. Don’t forget to pay your parking as well. Some nice Italian places and off course an Irish bar.

Why are Naplles FL fun specific public events SO HARD TO FIND ONLINE? We have come to Naples for years and general info is worse each year! It seems one must just KNOW where and when to go. Are we missing the proper website where all public events are listed? For example, we know Third Thursdays on Third St. But WHEN ARE 5thSt streetfests? And where are other thursday fests each month? Newspaper listings are inconsistent and not all on one list. Often newspaper just reports the fun the DAY AFTER IT ALREADY HAPPENED! Very frustrating. Often we find things generally listed on a website with NO DETAILS OF A DATE AND TIME!! Or click on an event and are greeted by a message that says: No information on this event! Naples is fabulous, but somebody PLEASE create a way for residents and visitors to know where to go and WHEN!!! We cind most events only through word of mouth! Not efficient.
