Easy access to lovely beach

$6 well spent. Easy parking with great facilities for a beach. To be able to take a shower after a day at the beach and not drive home with sand!!!

Gorgeous nature with a place to fish at the far end; also has a boat launch, & friendly volunteers help man the Park.

Always something interesting... today a lovely sunset wedding. Waves were a bit stronger today. The crowds haven't fully arrived yet.

Long park with five parking areas. #4 has consessions, #5 has a tower to climb but you can not see much from the top due to foliage. The beach at #5 is at the inlet and there are many, many shells, mostly small and pieces. The sand is soft except where the shells build up.

We had a condo over looking the state park for November. There was a problem with REDTIDE but it is nature. The beach was very quickly cleared and back to normal in 48hrs .The fishing from carpark #5 was good Lady fish Snook Flounder Catfish nothing big but great prolific sport.Lovely white coral sand [doesn't burn your feet] Top quality 5star... We went here for a morning walk. It was stunning! Not only did we see lots of Fish and birds but dolphins came incredibly close to the shore playing and hunting for fish. It all felt very unspoilt and lovely

A little off the beaten path, but worth it. The beach is long and has everything from fishing to paddle board rentals. Several food truck concessions in the parking areas. Wild life we saw were hawks, ospreys, and a turtle. Good place to spend a day.

This state park is easy to access, well maintained and caters for every type of person. There is plenty of beautiful beach space with excellent amenities and the fishing access is superb. A place we will visit over and over again.
