Take your boat to the west side of the island, drop anchor and enjoy. Can head to the beach and set up for a picnic, hanging out, whatever. Go during the week and you may be one of the only boats out there. Does get packed on the weekends during peak season. It is a State Park so there are... More

This is a beautiful place! We lucked out with the perfect weather for camping. It took longer to get there by kayak than I expected, but I'm not an avid kayaker. It took us 2 hours to kayak there & 3 hours to kayak back because it was choppy and we were fighting the wind & tide. I definitely recommend... More

Most beautiful beach we have visited. We plan on visiting more often and bring our friends next time.

Very nice, quiet place for sitting in the sun, having a picnic, and getting your feet wet. The park is small yet has ample parking, boat launch facilities, covered picnic facilities, and restrooms.

This is a nice small park that is never crowded. The beach is nice and there are plenty of places to hike.

We happened to find that we lived so close to alot of wonderful beaches and parks when buying in Holiday. One of them was the Anclote Key Preserve State Park. We have been to the park three times now and have fully enjoyed our walks through the natural habitat and discovered a few wild things along the way. So glad... More

A great place to go to escape and enjoy nature. The beach area is wonderful for all ages. If it is rough on the far side you can just walk around to the other side and it is usually calm. There are many kinds of shells and sand dollars. We usually see dolphins playing around the island and have even... More

We visited this amazing park back in February as part of a fishing trip. From what we saw surrounding us were beautiful shore birds, lots of greenery and clean river water. Our trip lasted 3+ hours as there was much to see. The area is safe, good for bike riding, fishing and just hanging out on your beach chair. We... More

I have been going to this Island for many years. My father and I used to climb to the top of the abandoned light house, view was amazing. The Lighthouse has been restored now. There are many shells to find and collect. If you come to the island after sunset be sure to bring bug spark. Mosquitoes are out of... More
