We went to New Smyrna here specifically to locate this site. Unfortunately Apple Maps led us to the wrong location. We thought we were in the general location though.. Where we ended up was a neighborhood so we looked across the street and noticed some wooded areas. We turned around the car and then started again. It was then when... More

Not a lot here but the ruins are interesting. We went on a cool, sunny morning and enjoyed the place. The public bathrooms are some of the cleanest I have ever used.

Stroll through time back to another era. See what remains of days gone by. When life was of a different time. The dinosaur s throughout the park are fun and unexpected. The history here is fascinating. Kids will probably be as fascinated as the adults.

Was a nice small place to venture out if you have a spare hour to roam around. Has some interesting history and a small walking trail through the woods. There isn't anything to see in the woods though from a historical standpoint.

There really is not very much to see at this site. There really is not enough left of it to be worth the trip.

This is such a cool little stop on your way to the beach. It is 10 minutes from NSB and takes about 15 minutes to see it all. Signs tell you a little bit about how sugar was made, and a few legends surrounding the place. Just off of Mission drive, you might miss it if you don't pay attention.... More

Found this on TripAdvisor. It is a free self guided tour that is inside a very beautiful botanical garden. Between the gardens and mill we spent about an hour there, however some people go through it faster. Plaques tell the history of the ruins and the people who owned them and their history as well. I feel it is not... More

Stopped by since we had a few minutes before dinner. Parked in one of the few parking spots and walked over to the ruins. Signs posted at different areas around the ruins explain the very short and brief history of these ruins. While it is interesting and scenic, it only takes a few minutes (15-20) to walk around, read and... More

The place is really just ruins. The best part is that no one has to get out of the car. You can drive by the stuff and see it all. We did send someone out to read the plaques, but since it was so hot and very little to see everyone stayed in the car.

A good quick trip. Took 1/2 hour to look around the site of the old sugar mill. Very pretty park area. Good for a picnic. Also has a nature trail. Lovely trees and vegetation.
