It's about average. There's a small amount of play equipment. You can walk there from many hotels and some restaurants. It's peaceful and kind of cute.

This park holds quite a bit of history. It’s worth the stop to see. I encourage anyone interested in the history of Florida stop by for a few minutes. Thanks

We visited the interior of the park which has a little walkway over the water. Manatee's were everywhere. It was great seeing so many and seeing them so close. We did not use the beach area.

I almost don't want to share the details of this place which is simply incredible. Beautiful beach, manatees, dolphins, and a ton of other wildlife. We were there on an August weekday and it was not at all crowded. Can't wait to go back.
