Took a friend here for first visit, and she loved it. Lots of quaint little Crafty shops, and a gorgeous Beach to drive on. Lots of eating places, and you wont struggle to find a good bar.

We visit NSB each year and stay down the beach, but always come to Flagler Ave and the town beach. Fun atmosphere and people watching. Great time to hang and relax.

Very nice beach - seems popular and clean - you have to pay for parking. We never went in the water, but for a quick walk and some pictures, it was very nice. Nice little Florida town.

My SIL recommended this beach to us while visiting in Florida. Since I didn't want to brave the crowds of more popular beaches over spring break, this seemed perfect. And it was! Packed, fine sands to play in, easy beach access, shallow water for quite...More

The New Smyrna beach is probably the nicest beach in Florida. It is very large, the sand is like powder, you can go out a very long piece, and you can park on the beach. This is a perfect place for relaxing, playing beach games...More

Very long clean beach. Magnificent vistas of rolling surf. Although you can walk barefoot I would suggest that do take footwear as there are areas which has lots of broken shells and stones.

We had a delightful time on our first visit to New Smyrna, town and beach. Just a restorative and pleasant visit. The beach was awesome, and you could park your car on the beach itself, for a fee, which made it unnecessary to haul all...More

The beach is an island with two bridges. On the weekends there is total traffic gridlock going to and from the beach and on the island. The beach is a long way from the major highways and you find out when you get close to...More

With multiple entrances, this beach fairly invites you to pack up the umbrella, folding chair, and cooler for a day in the sun by the sea. Well marked driving/parking areas, and vigilant lifeguards make for a safe, simple, and carefree day away. The shallow water...More

If it's where I think, it's clues to adult activities and live music. For the kids you are walking distance to the beach but it's a driving beach. Another reviewer mentioned Go Kart City but it's pretty run down and has... More
