Great place to enter the beach in a car and take in the sights

We drove on to the beach because it is a fun thing to do. This location is less congested than Flagler beach. There is a fee but $10 a day non resident isn't bad.

This is a wonderful spot - and one of the last public ones in New Smyrna Beach. If it is a weekend or holiday, you must arrive early if you want a parking spot. If you are a resident of Volusia County, you don't have to pay a fee as long as you have a parking decal, which can be... More

27th Avenue Park is, arguably, the best beach on the mid Atlantic coast. Millions of dollars have been spent perfecting this wide stretch of sand and it will not disappoint. Family friendly, always clean, wonderful facilities. Pack a picnic to enjoy in the pavillion. Parking is $10.00 for the day in this lot, unless you have a Volusia Beach Parking... More

Hurricane Matthew did not stop people from participating in sports and wellness activities at the beach. New Smyrna Beach was hit hard but after a few weeks of cleaning, it's back to usual. And mornings at the 27th Ave Park are for Tai Chi. A nice group of folks get to the beach and the instructor leads them to the... More

A great beach at the end of the driving. It's great for us because we feel safer with our toddler knowing there will not be the added danger of cars driving by. They also have a park but I believe they are tearing that down.

Our family (kids ages 6 and 2) recently traveled to NSB and the 27th Avenue Park is by far the best public beach access point! It is $10/day to park in the surface lot or drive onto the beach and you are allowed 1 reentry per day. It is free to park after 5 p.m. and your car does not... More

Five hundred feet of soft light brown sand. Dolphins just off shore. Ocean water that is clean and often in the high 70's to low 80's. Driving on the beach. The beaches at New Smyrna and the parks found on them are the best kept secret on the entire east coast. TELL NOBODY! DO NOT SPREAD THE WORD! NEVER VISIT!... More

Enjoyed the pavilions, grills, clean bathrooms, and robust showers. Charge for parking..10 dollars for the day. It was worth it! Will go back!

Nice town services by the beach, bathrooms and playground. On the weekends there are food trucks on the beach. New Smryna allows driving on a portion of the beach , be careful of young children.
