Lots of wild life, especially rabbits and raccoons. bathrooms were spotless and it was very quiet. Sun rise over the Rocky Bayou was beautiful. Just a quiet place to get away.

Went here while visiting Destin and had a good time. My wife and I rented a kayak and paddled around the bayou. The park was really clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a $5 entry fee for the park and it's...More

Thanksgiving break in Florida and we loved every minute of it. The people who work at Rocky Bayou are amazing... so friendly. The campground was lovely, the trails were nice, we saw dolphins in the bayou. Camped with the dog and, while no animals are...More

The sites at this park are wide and shaded and several have a view to the bayou. Inside the campground you can launch your canoe or kayak, or you can rent it right there. The rocky Creek is about 1/2 mile paddle away. Once you...More

This is a wonderful, quiet park. Very clean and pet friendly. The park has several easy hiking trails. The bathrooms and the entire park was spotless! Very relaxing! And did I say quiet! Would definitely go back.

This park has a camping area which I camped in years ago and was very nice. In the more public areas there's picnic areas water access for boats, fishing and swimming. It's Avery peaceful park on Rocky Bayou.

We camped at this beautiful, clean park for a week in our 30 foot motorhome. The trails are looped, all easy and certainly showed different habitats. Even though the shoreline is tiny, you can walk along it nearly the length of the park. Playgrounds and...More

This park is very well maintained. Like the other reviews say, the bathrooms are spotless, and the trails are easy to walk. If you're tent camping, be sure to get a site that has dirt. Some sites have gravel or are concrete. There are mostly...More

We walked the 3 trails in this State Park. It was early in the morning and so beautiful and quiet. The view over the water was lovely and what a nice campground this park has.

Yes, this park has flush toilets & the usual amenities. It is not a rustic park. As far as alligators go, I have not heard of or encountered any problems with gators in this park. There ARE gators, & it is Florida. You... More
