My husband and I came last Nov. and found the resort/staff/amenities well worth the cost. I don't know if it's like this any other time of year, but early Nov. has worked for us. The resort isn't too busy, but there are others enjoying the beach, pool, bars etc. The chicken sandwich at the Oasis pool bar was great, but... More

What was supposed be a overnight getaway was a HUGE waste of money! We have a set of newborn twins and this was supposed to be a night of relaxation and more importantly an opportunity for sleep. The office was nice, typical hotel lobby, parking lot pretty shabby, elevator smelled terrible and was missing buttons on the floor selection, walkway... More

We have been coming here for over 20 years. What was a five is now at best a three. Shuffleboard court has no poles that are complete, beanbag toss had two beat up bags where there should've been eight and the boards were all warped. What was once a five-star restaurant is now at best a three star with five-star... More

Pulled up to the main dock at Tween Waters inn and was met by the dock master. We were immediately told that the pool bar was full and we could not dock. After a few questions i asked if it was O K to get a 6 pack of beer. I then walked up and one of the other gentlemen that... More

Stay for 4 nights as part of our Florida vacation, the location is towards the north end of the island, but plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable, but the air condition is difficult to control and can be over productive- cold!! The views over the bay were very good but spoilt by the mosquito netting on the balcony,... My friends and family have been guests at tween waters for many years. A few times a year we will boat to Captiva for lunch at tween waters. This past Saturday We attempted to beach the boat to have lunch run up a big bar tab and hang out by the pool as we have done for years. As we... More

This is cool spot where ocean and inlet are easily accessible, allowing a variety of experiences from shelling to kayaking in the mangroves.

Strange vibe this year. Many long time employees gone and one fired during stay. The other guests are what make this a great vacation. The pool employees who clean every day are so nice and welcoming as are the people at the Old Captiva HOuse at breakfast. My pal Tania is still at the Crow's Nest and she is outstanding.... More

Absolutely loved this place. A throwback with modern amenities added. We stayed in the modern suite overlooking the Gulf. Beautiful!!!!! Viewed dolphins, manatees, flying fish, egrets, herons,pelicans-a regular airshow!!!!!There are cottages there(built in the 1930s-updated), which we looked at for our next visit. Reminded me when I was a kid vacationing on The Cape!!! Anything you wanted was here on... More
