Great stop for pictures or you could spend the day at the beach. Parking might be limited so plan ahead.

Very nice beach w/ paid parking area. Tends to be busiest in late morning to late afternoon and parking gets to be difficult then. Lots of good fishing here and tons of nice shells are everywhere! You can see manatees here as well horseshoe crabs (and lots of birds!). The water is shallow in most places and there's a large... More

Whether you are out for a cruise, dolphin and bird watching or fishing this is a great spot to be. A wide assortment of wildlife and usually calm waters (check the weather report), The fishing is very diverse. So many species. you'll never be sure what you've caught until you reel it in.

This is just a short bridge that connects Sanibel Island to Captiva Island. There is a small beach just to the left of the pass which provides limited parking for a fee. If the tide is low you are able to walk under this connection bridge. Enjoy.

On previous visits we have taken this pass by small boat and used it to visit all around the island; although the leeward side is less volatile than the ocean side. There is a strong current and parents need to be mindful of their children as they venture into the water. Fishing with the tide flow is best. This time... More

What a beautiful place North Captiva is. Perfect for those sunset's. Parking is another thing though better rent a golf cart or scooter. Beaches are great for shelling ok for swimming but this is a shelling resort island.

Always a great spot. Throw a line in, enjoy the sun, peace and quiet. We like to visit in the fall when the munchkins are back in school.
