Happened upon this place utilizing TripAdvisor recommendations for top attractions in area. We were staying in the congestion and noise of Sunny Isles. Couldn't believe the beauty and peacefulness of this park was less than 1 mile away. Lots of activity options including picnicking, water activities, camping, biking and just enjoying nature. Check out website to learn more on all... More

This was an amazing find! We went kayaking, Rented 4 double and one single Kayak, we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The staff is friendly, Especially Alan at the Kayak Return and the woman taking payment upstairs. They were both so helpful and patient!! We've already recommended our friends come here and we will continue to do so.... More

We live in Miami and have tried to make it here a number of times, but it seemed like something came up or it rained. We finally made it one Saturday. We started out doing some of the hikes since it was raining a little. After our walk we rented kayaks for a couple of hours. It was a little... More

Heard about this place from a co-worker. Decided to visit. Very impressed. It's nice for walking around and canoeing. I guess some people bike and fish and picnic. Very natural setting in the heart of this urban area and on the water. We canoed and just relaxed and enjoyed the morning. It doesn't take too long to see most of... More

If I were blindfolded and parachuted into the park I would have certainly thought that I was in a remote forested nature reserve. I live in Surfside Fl, roughly 6 miles from the park and 25 minutes bike ride either via Collins Avenue or FIU Biscayne Bay campus. Once in the park there are a myriad of bike trails with... More

Private, quiet fake beach. So no waves. Great for little kids (and older too). Many picnic areas, bike trails, kayaking, paddle boarding, much more!

It's a bit pricey, but it is expected with the location and quality of park! I've heard so many stories of people seeing loads of wildlife, which makes it fun! I did go recently and it seems a little dirtier than usual, so I really suggest for the park to do a clean up... maybe bring out some volunteers and... More

We fell in love with this place... Once you drive down the road it's like you're no longer in a big city. You seem to be on an escape into some far away place lush with greenery and bodies of water. We go kayaking to the small islands off of the coast and have even stayed overnight in the cabins.... More
