OCT is one of the best theaters of any type in the country. They have high quality productions of popular theater shows, such as the currently running "Sister Act.". Their all-volunteer status does not preclude them from excellent results. The set design is marvelous and the quality of the local actors and actresses is amazing. We attend quite often and... More

Great community theatre, offers a lot of opportunities for young and old to experience working on a production. Look for their monthly newsletter to find out upcoming auditions and plays. The cost is reasonable and the view/sound is good from each seat. I very much appreciate that they offer local students the chance to see the plays fit free during... More

There is not a bad seat in the house. The accoustics are very good. It is community theater and the talent is outstanding. The shows are mostly musicals and comedy. They have matinee and evening productions. We have been season ticket holders for the past 4 years and will continue.

A group from 11 to 91 y.o. attended a performance of Mary Poppins this past week and we were knocked out by the entire experience. The tickets were a bargain, every seat had a clear view and excellent acoustics, the ambiance was like the best of off-Broadway venues, the staging,, sound and lighting was professional, the directing and support behind the... Each year there is such a variety of shows from classic musicals to British comedies. I am a season ticket holder. My favorites this year were Dixie Swim Club and Tom, Dick, and Harry. The first show I saw was Harvey, I was hooked. Something unique is the stage settings. They build realistic living rooms, trains, cities. I love our... More

OCT is a marvelous benefit to our Ocala community. The local talent is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoy theater productions and have not found any local theaters anywhere comparable to OCT and we travel quite a bit. The recent production of "My Fair Lady" was no exception. The music and acting were spot on. You can't miss with any show... More

Show the British comedy "Tom, Dick and Harrry" and the cast was absolutely tremendous. It's not easy carrying off a comedy but this cast hit each cue right on. The show itself was extremely funny and the cast very "professional". This first non-musical I attended and it exceeded my expectations.

I moved from NJ to Ocala a few years ago, being a former dancer and having being accustomed to see NY performances I approached the Ocala Nutcracker with hesitation....... What a marvelous surprise!! For two hours I was enchanted with great performance, delicate ballerinas and most amazing sets!! We attend at least two shows each Christmas season and always leave... More

Our group enjoyed seeing the theatre. We were quite impressed with the five actresses and their varied roles. Each of us could relate to one or more of the characters in "Dixie Swim Club."
