A wonderful tour of a working Breeding farm for the most beautiful horses. Dennis & Erin were gracious, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Learned the history of this breed and got to experience the special bond they have with the animals. Highly recommend a visit for any family.

I had not heard of Gypsy Vanner horses before my visit to Gypsy Gold horse farm yesterday. I urge you to visit because you will enjoy Dennis Thompson's entertaining narrative regarding the history of these horses and how they came to America. These horses are large with beautiful feet with tails that reach to the ground and are owned by... More

The tour of Gypsy Gold was so much more impressive even than the great reviews I'd heard from a variety of folks who had visited there. The story of the Gypsy horses is so well told by the owner and speaks so clearly of his 22 year passion. His knowledge of the Gypsy culture and their horses is inspirational. The... More

I do not consider being a strong lover of horses but I so enjoyed the visit. He was a great storyteller and had me so interested that the time flew by. Loved seeing and touching the beautiful horses. I learned so much and not just about horses but about gypsy people throughout the world.

Dennis is a great storyteller (super funny) and really knows his stuff. Yes, he takes the long way around each point, but be patient. You will learn something new. He's such a passionate person about this place and what he wants it to represent. You will learn a lot about how this breed of horse came here and then see... More

Very educational. Loved the horses, and being able to walk about photographing them. Everyone I met, made you feel at home.

I have been there twice and will be back again. Dennis and Erin are just wonderful people to deal with and are so enjoyable to talk to. Tour of the farm and Dennis's talk is so full of information of the Gypsy Vanner horses. A must visit for any horse lover.

Beautiful horses, very cordial farm personnel. This is a beautiful facility. The horses are well cared for and not the kind you see everyday, very interesting history as to how they came to Florida.

This was my second attempt to visit Gypsy Gold Farm. Last year during my time in Florida I was unable to see the horses because the days the farm was open for tours did not coincide with my travel dates to the area. Not that you care about that, but I just want to make the point that the tours... More
