Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite water park in Orlando with it's huge wave pool, water slides/coaster, plenty of shade, and cute theme. I make sure to stop by here every summer that I get a chance.

Going to Disney World in Beginning of March 2018. Does anyone know what the dates are for the refurbishment schedule for the water parks. We really want to go to typhoon lagoon but it appears it was closed this year at that time for refurb???

yes a new water park did open it's Universal's volcano bay. normally Disney will not close the whole park for renovations they normally block off one section and fixor closeasectionand add more while constructing.

Parking is free a typhoon lagoon , food was around $12.99 for a burger or sanwich, drinks $3.99
