Overview
More
"Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

Lots of fun places to eat and explore. We stopped in at the Abracadabar and did some shopping. Cast members were set up outside the hotel helping guests tie-dye Mickey tees (for a fee). Nice place to relax just outside the park.

The sidewalks roll up at dark at Boardwalk vs. a bustling nightlife at Universal's CityWalk--clearly each is geared to the younger Disney vs. older Universal crowd.

This is a shopping and restaurant district. It's really nice with a lot of restaurants. It seems a little expensive, but still nice to visit.

This hotel is in the perfect location for food and wine festival and Epcot. We love that there is a back entrance to the park. So convenient. We love the lounge and the overfall 20's Boardwalk feel of the resort. The pool is amazing and...More

My family and I always have a great time. We rent a Surrey bike and ride around. Sometimes at night you can catch a movie on the beach. The shops and restaurants are all great.

The two bartenders were extremely rude at this establishment. Disney should be ashamed to be associated with this place. “Avoid the Atlantic dance hall “

You can get to the Boardwalk by the back exit within Epcot. They have some neat shops set up there and several restaurants to choose from too.

Downtown Disney is now called Disney Springs. Disney's Boardwalk is by the Boardwalk Resort, in between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

As others have written you can catch glimpses but it’s no substitute for being there.
