The History Center has exhibits of varying quality. Some are passable, but most are pretty boring. Orlando is not a place for quality museums and the History Center, as probably the largest in the city, proves that. Keep an eye out for rotating exhibits though....More

Learn about the real Orlando, past and present! I am very slow at museums and spent 3 hours between all the displays and the free audio tour, but most people will be quicker.

As museums go, this one is probably above average, but our visit on a Sunday afternoon was ruined by an unruly group of kids who were there for a birthday party. The party site was a room in the museum; there were several adults who...More

I visited this museum with my children primarily because of the good reviews. I'm glad we went for it because the place was very nice. Unlike many museums, this one took us at least 2.5 hours to go through. I feel that if we soaked...More

This museum presents the local history very well and in a easy to understand format. There are 3 floors to this museum and we gave it 2 hours to go through, which was just a bit of a tight schedule, I would suggest 2 1/2...More

This was a nice walk through the history of Florida. There's a lot of reading to do if you really want to gain an understanding of the exhibits. The courtroom was amazing, and in my opinion the best part of the museum. There are 4...More

I love this place. It is located in the old courthouse, and houses changing exhibits (I saw one on Gone With The Wind, and another year, they held a different exhibit every season on Universal Studios Florida), along with exhibits on the history or Orlando...More
