Cobbled streets, fantastic bungalows, Colonial, Mediterranean and more. all cobblestone streets, small main street with a few shops and restaurants and great Raw Juice and Detox bar - all vegan. It was brutally hot out the day we were there and we still walked virtually every cobbled street never seeing even one other tourist. This is not a kid destination... More

My mom and I stopped and strolled in this lovely lake area. We loved watching the bird life and seeing people heddle the big swan boats around the lake.

Beautiful place to stroll around, the lake is the center point. Many nice restaurants and bars in the area, fun place to wonder around.

Orlando Area have so much to offer from Disney World to Universal Studios and lots of other great sights. So it's understandable, that Downtown Area is forgotten sometimes. I'm so pleased that we decided to spend an afternoon wandering around beautiful Lake Eola and also Thornton Park. This Area is like lungs of the city and perfect place to relax... More

We walked round lake around sunset , the fountain in the centre of the lake was lit up and looked beautiful. The edge of the lake has wide flat path all round and is filled with birds of all sorts , the geese and swans were lovely , little children had the ducks and geese feeding from their hand. Regret... Who doesn't love this darling neighborhood in downtown Orlando? With it's brick streets, moss-covered oaks, and charming bungalows, Thornton Park is a feast for the eyes! Check out some of the restaurants on Washington Street, just east of Lake Eola.

Great place for Couples or hanging with friends! I absolutely LOVE the Thornton park district. Dexters is a great place to eat or grab a burger and beer at Graffiti Junktion and afterwards walk down to Lake Eola to burn off some calories or grab another glass of wine!

After spending whole morning and early afternoon at pool at our hotel, we wanted to go to a quieter and urban place (than the usual tourist spots) to walk around and grab a dinner. Thornton park was great for that purpose. A short drive from our hotel at international drive. Thornton park was better than I expected; it was nicely... More
