If you’re looking for peace and quiet with no crowds this is your place. A great place to unwind after fighting traffic. We walked the trails which weren't muddy and easy to navigate, six trails are offered entailing about 4 miles; pick up a map in the nature center. A tortoise joined us at one point just following along which... More

Went for hike along longest trail (3 miles). Saw some birds and lots of different ecosystems. A few parts were muddy, but not bad. Decent center building with bathrooms and water fountain. Free!!!

My husband and I walked here for 2 hours this morning. We saw a tortoise come out of its burrow and a river otter just splashing in the water. Trails are well marked and you can do a shorter or longer walk. The longest is 4 miles. Have to watch for roots and ruts in some places so make sure... More

A good friend and I enjoyed a nature walk just outside of Lake Buena Vista. Having spent a few days shopping and Disney, we needed a quiet day. Lovely trails, easily accessible to all levels of hikers and includes a boardwalk and water over look. A cute nature Center and clean bathrooms. I would suggest a visit to this park... More

Nice trails for hiking and biking. Not far from Disney so a good natural break if you want "real" nature. Very quiet. Easy, level traisl.

I have been here several times and keep coming back. Always something to see and great teaching opportunity to children. Only 4 miles from Vinland- Apopka Road, it is a great place to hike and enjoy natural Florida. You can also visit Darwin the very large turtle and relax in rocking chairs on the covered porches. Free entrance!

This is a nice place for a walk. And it has some good photographic opportunities. The trails are well marked. We saw raccoons, gopher tortoises, rat snakes, several different kinds of mushrooms, just to name a few things. We'll be back to walk the trails again. I recommend wearing shoes, rather than sandals. Some of trails are sandy. Washrooms at... More

This is a great park that has lots of trails throughout. There is a visitor center, bathrooms by the entrance of the trails. There is also at the main entrance of the trails behind the welcome center there is a log in sheet for keeping track of people on the trails, just don't forget to sign back in. There is... More

A great place to follow the trails, and enjoy the peace in a usually chaotic city. Not too much on wildlife when we were there but even the vegetation was interesting. Trails were easy enough to manage, even for beginners. I did them all but my mom (in her 70s) skipped the most advanced, more because of a fear there... More
