Because we didn't want to go to Universal Studios, but we also did wanna go out for dinner, we decided on Universal City Walk. A little more of a night life kinda place we did enjoy going to Bubba Gump Shrimp (more on that in a minute) for dinner! We chose to go to UCW on a day that we... More

Lots to buy and eat. not much reason to go here unless you are on your way in or out of Universal Studios. There are some cool restaurants and bars, but its over priced, and nothing super foodie fancy. but serves the purpose.

40 year old guy (sigh) travelling with his GF. This is a giant open-air mall of uber themed-up restaurants and bars. You have to walk through City Walk to get to either of the Universal Theme parks; Islands of Adventure to the left and Universal Studios to the right. It’s a fun place. If you’ve ever been to a mall,... More

Definitely no need to go anywhere else if staying at the onsite resorts. A bit pricey but excellent dining and just overall great sight seeing.

Perk of staying in Universal is taking the water taxi back and fourth to Citywalk as you please. There is something always happening everywhere. Great for couples, families and kids. The nightlife is so fun and the variety of restaraunts from fast to fine dining is amazing. Please spend some time there.

Very nice, restaurant boardwalk along a river. Boats can take you from a couple local resorts to the Citywalk strip. Parking is easy and free after 6pm. Worst part is that corporations reserve large sections of restaurants without notice.. Margarettaville and Hard Rock have nice outdoor dining options. Bob Marley's restaurant has live music and a little court hard for... More

CityWalk has just about everything you could need for your non-park food and entertainment time. Movie, mini-golf, food, bars, and other stuff that I didn't get to. The food is much better quality than in the parks so I'd recommend eating here when you can.
