When I lived in Daytona Beach for College, I often would drive the Loop around the Tomaka River area....it was just beautiful then and now. It is "old Florida" with a road through it. Don't miss it! Well worth the drive.

This park is a gem. Definite worth the trip if you are on the eastern shore of Florida. This is a great way to see natural Florida, great for bird watching. Beautiful scenery too.

Visiting during bike week so we have the Harley....love the loop for a nice scenic ride. Like to stop and look at the old tree and just walk around. Too bad people can’t read the sign that says not to climb on the tree!

So many fond memories of this area from when I was in my 20's....the only downside (at the present time) is that they have now added some subdivisions to the area, which has destroyed the beauty and landscape, unfortunately.

Whether you cover the area via automobile or atop your bike, this trail is absolutely beautiful as well as enlightening. The trees that overhang much of this road are absolutely enchanting, and as it progresses through the swamp, you will learn so much about just...More

The Loop is well worth the drive. Its beautiful with the trees out over the road. And driving along the coast is nice too.
